When seen straight-on, the Single Wall Light is like a painting or relief - a flat artwork designed for the wall – however, when illuminated, the focus moves to its edges, to the depth and dimensionality of the design.
The arch-shape at the centre of the design gleams even when the lamp is not illuminated - its brushed brass surface reflecting the natural daylight. The simplicity of the shape is cut through with a vertical strip of metal in a dark and flat shade of grey, which recalls the playful compositions of El Lissitzky.
