A play on flatness and dimensionality, the Sphere in Stadium is composed of only three elements: a glass globe, a flat disc with beautiful brushed-metal sides and faces, and a thin metal frame.
The two circular elements are divided and surrounded by the metal frame - an inverted arch-shape with a curved base and an angular upper. Drawing a thin line through the air - the barely-there quality of the frame is contrasted by the fullness of the glass globe, whose rotund silhouette balloons out of the frame on both sides.
